Location: Jacksonville, FL - 32206
Duration: 6 Months
Shift Timings: 7 am - 3 pm (1st shift)
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to support reverse osmosis membrane handling operations in a plant environment.
This entry-level role is responsible for uncrating, logging, cleaning, testing, and repacking membranes, following standardized procedures and safety protocols.
The position works under close supervision and is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle reverse osmosis membranes, including uncrating, logging for inventory tracking, cleaning, testing, and repacking
Follow all workplace safety and product quality policies and procedures
Monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality throughout the shift
Read and follow documented work processes and instructions accurately
Support internal and external customer needs through timely and quality work
Contribute to overall team and plant performance metrics
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to communicate clearly with team members
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Completion of site-specific safety and operational training
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts
Familiarity with inventory tracking or data entry systems
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit, stand, see, and hear consistently throughout the shift
Must be able to walk, write, and type frequently
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Must be able to climb stairs and perform occasional bending, reaching, and pulling
Must be able to work in environments with temperatures ranging from 0ยฐF to 120ยฐF
May be required to wear hearing protection and other PPE as needed
Must be able to operate a computer and communicate effectively via phone and email
May be exposed to dust, dirt, and concrete flooring
