Our custom tooling capabilities, technology, and state of the art powder coating facilities are all here to help meet and exceed your expectations.Your role as a Entry Level Aluminum Extrusion LaborerAs an Entry Level Aluminum Extrusion Laborer at Flextrude, you will engage in a variety of tasks daily. Expect to operate machinery, assist in the extrusion process, and perform quality control checks on products. You will work closely with experienced team members to learn best practices and safety protocols.Responsibilities may also include preparing materials, cleaning workstations, and packaging finished goods for shipment. Your schedule will consist of rotating shifts, which allows for flexibility and varied experiences on the job. Shifts are as follows: 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.There is a $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift and $2.00 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift.The position requires commitment from Monday through Saturday, fostering a strong work ethic and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.What you need to be successfulTo succeed as an Entry Level Aluminum Extrusion Laborer at Flextrude, candidates should possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. While manufacturing production experience is preferred, a positive attitude and eagerness to pick up new skills will be highly valued. The role requires the ability to lift over 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours per shift, ensuring you remain physically prepared for the demands of the job. Familiarity with equipment operation and troubleshooting will be beneficial, as you will work with various extrusion machinery.Effective teamwork and adherence to safety compliance are essential, as you collaborate with colleagues to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
