Job Description:
The Automotive Student Technician is an entry-level position designed for students pursuing a career in the automotive field. This role provides hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair under the supervision of experienced technicians. The student technician assists with basic service tasks while developing technical skills and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery checks, and fluid top-offs
  • Help diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools (under supervision)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Properly handle tools and equipment
  • Document work performed and report findings to supervising technicians
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development

Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and components
  • Strong willingness to learn and take direction
