Job Purpose:
This position is an entry level attorney career position. This position has responsibility for completing assigned legal aspects of corporate projects for the businesses, operations and corporate affairs of TruStage. The position has responsibility in assisting in the handling of complex legal matters, under the supervision and guidance of senior attorneys.
Job Responsibilities:
- Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers.
- Manages own workload and occasionally provides informal guidance to colleagues with less experience.
- Solves a range of straightforward problems.
- Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
- Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
- Provide legal advice, opinions and counseling to TruStage.
- Determine, investigate, research, and analyze all legal aspects of projects.
- Negotiate and draft legal documents.
- Direct, manage and supervise outside counsel.
- Represent TruStage and its affiliates before governmental, legislative and regulatory agencies and in trade association relations.
- Develop legal expertise and high degree of knowledge of TruStage.
- Develop and interact with key outside contacts.
- Participate in cross functional teams and special projects.

Job Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree.
- Authorized to practice law in the State of Wisconsin or applicable jurisdiction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to think and act quickly and perform under significant pressure and deadlines.
- Sound organizational and planning skills.

Base Salary Range:
$99,800.00 - $149,700.00At TruStage, we believe a sound, inclusive benefits program is of vital importance, along with a flexible workplace that allows for work-life balance, career growth and retirement assistance. In addition to your base pay, your position may be eligible for an annual incentive (bonus) plan.
