This position will work fully onsite. 

The Client Delivery Assistant provides embedded practice support, executing delegated administrative tasks and supporting attorneys and specialists. This role preserves practice continuity, maintains institutional knowledge, and acts as a development pipeline to specialist roles. Essential job functions include:

  • Assists with typing, transcribing, and revising documents.
  • Makes meeting arrangements and travel arrangements; creates itineraries for travelers.
  • Prepares expense statements, reimbursement requests and other Emburse responsibilities.
  • Assists with saving and profiling pleadings and other documents in document management system.
  • Enters billable time and makes revisions to time entries and prebills as needed.
  • Assists with creating and organizing notebooks, large mailings, and file organization. 
  • Provides on-site support, including mailing, copying, printing, and scanning. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline tasks through technology.
  • Leverages automation and dashboards to improve tracking, organization, and execution of work
  • Participates in applicable AI and technology-related trainings to maintain proficiency in related tools and services
  • Researches emerging tools and best practices and recommends process improvements to streamline workflows, increase accuracy, and enhance service delivery
  • Proactively demonstrates effective teamwork and communication with team members and all Firm personnel. Actively participates in regular team meetings to discuss current projects and workflow. Takes personal responsibility for regularly exchanging information and training tips with team members for maximum job effectiveness.
  • Updates project log with pending and completed tasks.
  • Operates office equipment including PCs, printers, phones, copiers, facsimiles and typewriters.
  • Copes successfully with office demands, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Conducts all business in a confidential manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred or commensurate professional or educational experience.
  • 1+ years relevant experience required, preferably in a legal environment.
  • Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
  • Demonstrate attentiveness and reliability in task execution.
  • Proactively identify support needs and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Maintain professionalism and accountability.
  • Support continuity and trust within practice teams.
