Job DescriptionOur New York City Landscape Architecture studio is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Landscape Architectural Designer to join our team. This role will support design development and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including urban designers, engineers, and architects.
Your OpportunityWorking in collaboration with design leadership, you will be an integral member of the project team, contributing to the design and delivery of a wide range of public realm projects.
Your Key Responsibilities - Assist with site analysis and contribute to development of design concepts for projects and master plans
- Translate design ideas into graphic representations, including plans, sections, elevations, and perspectives (digital and hand-drawn)
- Prepare materials for client presentations and agency meetings
- Develop renderings and graphics for reports and presentations
- Support the preparation of design documentation and contract documents
- Assist with construction administration under the supervision of senior team members
Qualifications Your Capabilities and Credentials - Strong creative thinking and design skills
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Rhino, Lumion, and ARC GIS.
Education and Experience - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program

About the TeamPay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
