As a Technical Services Chemist, you will be on the front lines of environmental solutions, providing expert lab packing services to ensure the safe handling, packaging, and disposal of hazardous materials. Join a team where your technical expertise drives meaningful change every day.

What will you do? Make an impact!

Join a team committed to safety, environmental responsibility, and handson technical work. This role is a strong fit for earlycareer professionals or individuals interested in advancing in the environmental services industry. You'll work directly with hazardous materials, learn industryspecific procedures, and gain experience that can lead to longterm growth.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Classify, identify, package, and label hazardous waste for safe transportation and disposal
  • Follow all regulatory, safety, and company policies to support a compliant, environmentally responsible workplace
  • Process required documentation to meet environmental regulations and internal procedures
  • Unpack hazardous materials at plant locations when needed
  • Sample and analyze container contents
  • Use internal software systems to research, record, and manage data
  • Drive a 26ft box truck once a Class B CDL is obtained
  • Obtain tanker and hazmat endorsements
  • Remote-open and stabilize highhazard chemicals (for advanced chemists)
  • Other duties as assigned
Do you have what it takes?
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of related lab packing experience is required
  • Basic knowledge of-or interest in learning-the hazardous waste field
  • Ability to pass OSHA/DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record; willingness to travel
  • Ability to obtain a Class B CDL with Tanker HazMat endorsement within 6 months (CDL holders preferred)
  • Comfortable wearing a fullface respirator and performing physical tasks (lifting, standing, kneeling, etc.)
  • Computer proficient and quick to learn new systems
  • Ability to work onsite and maintain the required schedule
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
