We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and motivated ICU Kennel Technician to join our fast-paced Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Hospital. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on animal care, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to learn and develop new skills with the opportunity to train into a Veterinary Assistant role.

About the Role:
As an ICU Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Intensive Care Unit team by maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment, assisting veterinary technicians and doctors, and helping provide exceptional patient care to critically ill and injured pets.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in building a long-term career in veterinary medicine.
Schedule: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday overnight 12 hour shift

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms, and hospital equipment 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized ICU environment 
  • Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with patient care and daily hospital operations 
  • Restrain patients safely for examinations and treatments 
  • Walk, feed, and monitor hospitalized patients as directed 
  • Stock supplies and ensure treatment areas remain fully equipped 
  • Launder bedding and maintain hospital cleanliness standards 
  • Assist with patient transport throughout the hospital 
  • Support the ICU team during emergency and critical care procedures 
  • Learn veterinary assistant skills through on-the-job training and mentorship
