We are seeking a high-performing, curious, and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer with strong software development fundamentals, a passion for learning, and an interest in solving complex business problems in a large-scale enterprise environment.
While prior PeopleSoft experience is not required, successful candidates should demonstrate strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn enterprise application development platforms and business systems. We will provide training, mentorship, and hands-on experience to help you grow into the role.
What You'll Do
โข Design, develop, test, and support enterprise software solutions
โข Learn and leverage delivered capability as much as possible
โข Work with senior developers and business stakeholders to implement enhancements and solve technical problems
โข Learn and develop within the PeopleSoft ecosystem, including integrations, workflows, and custom applications
โข Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvement efforts
โข Develop integrations and interfaces between enterprise systems and modern applications/services
โข Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
โข Contribute to technical documentation and development standards
โข Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices
Required Qualifications
TS/SCI with Polygraph
โข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
โข Strong foundation in software development principles and programming concepts
โข Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar
โข Understanding of:
o Object-oriented programming
o APIs and system integrations
o Relational databases and SQL
o Source control systems such as Git
o Software development lifecycle and debugging techniques
โข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
โข Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new technologies
โข Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
โข Experience with Enterprise Software Applications (Workday, Service Now, Salesforce)
โข Internship, co-op, academic, or personal project experience in software development
โข Exposure to enterprise systems or ERP platforms
โข Familiarity with cloud platforms, web services, or integration technologies
โข Experience working in Agile or collaborative development environments
โข Exposure to PeopleSoft, Oracle technologies, or enterprise application support is a plus, but not required

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$94,400 - $198,200
