We are seeking a high-performing, curious, and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer with strong software development fundamentals, a passion for learning, and an interest in solving complex business problems in a large-scale enterprise environment.
While prior PeopleSoft experience is not required, successful candidates should demonstrate strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn enterprise application development platforms and business systems. We will provide training, mentorship, and hands-on experience to help you grow into the role.
What You'll Do
โ€ข Design, develop, test, and support enterprise software solutions
โ€ข Learn and leverage delivered capability as much as possible
โ€ข Work with senior developers and business stakeholders to implement enhancements and solve technical problems
โ€ข Learn and develop within the PeopleSoft ecosystem, including integrations, workflows, and custom applications
โ€ข Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvement efforts
โ€ข Develop integrations and interfaces between enterprise systems and modern applications/services
โ€ข Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
โ€ข Contribute to technical documentation and development standards
โ€ข Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices

Required Qualifications
TS/SCI with Polygraph
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
โ€ข Strong foundation in software development principles and programming concepts
โ€ข Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar

โ€ข Understanding of:
o Object-oriented programming
o APIs and system integrations
o Relational databases and SQL
o Source control systems such as Git
o Software development lifecycle and debugging techniques

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
