Job Duties:
  • Review MRP action reports and assist in determining purchasing requirements.
  • Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations and support supplier selection decisions.
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery to suppliers.
  • Follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgments, delivery schedules, and open order status. Expedite where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information.
  • Monitor supplier performance and assist in resolving delivery, quality, and pricing issues.
  • Work closely with Planning, and Suppliers to support production requirements.

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
  • 1-2 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams and suppliers
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn.
  • Flexible working overtime when needed to support business requirements.
  • Capable of following both written and verbal instructions.
  • Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Salary Range: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
