Role Summary

As an Manufacturing IT Equipment Support you will manage the full lifecycle of an organization's hardware assets and software stack including procurement, tracking, asset management, maintenance, and disposal. Manufacturing IT Equipment Support ensures IT inventory is properly configured, inventoried, and secured. Key duties include managing inventory databases, deploying workstations, resolving hardware issues, and supporting other IT manufacturing facing infrastructure. This role will be located in Normal, IL and report to our MFG Systems Support Manager. 


Responsibilities

Asset Management: Track hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate inventory records and maintaining vendor contracts.
Hardware Installation, Setup & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computers, HMI’s, scanners, servers, printers, tablets, and other mobile devices.
Procurement: Manage procurement, stock levels, vendor relationships, and research new hardware for production environments.
Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve IT hardware and software issues, providing technical support to users and other business units.
Deployments and Projects: Manage the rollout of new equipment and upgrades to workstations or related Manufacturing IT hardware.
Must be comfortable using tools such as screw drivers, drills, hex keys, and wrenches.
Must be comfortable driving and operating golf carts and scissor lifts.
Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds.


Qualifications

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and network peripherals.
Organization: Excellent record-keeping skills to track equipment, maintenance, and warranties.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues and implement solutions for hardware and software malfunctions.
Communication: Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff and work with vendors.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
Inventory Management Systems / IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools.
Active Directory for user and computer management.
Ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
Remote management tools.


Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $63,300 - $79,100 for Illinois based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
We offer a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26, including but not limited to paid vacation, paid sick leave, and a competitive portfolio of insurance benefits including life, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability insurance, and long-term disability insurance to eligible employees.
