What You’ll Do

As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our employees have the technology and support they need to succeed. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-level help desk support for computers, printers, networks, phone systems, Microsoft applications, and other IT-related issues.
  • Installing and configuring operating systems and software on existing and new computer systems.
  • Assisting with IT projects and tasks assigned by the System Administrator and IT Manager/Developer.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with IT leadership on all tasks, troubleshooting efforts, and system improvements.
  • Monitoring and maintaining IT system performance, ensuring system security and reliability.
  • Setting up new equipment and supporting end-users with hardware and software malfunctions.

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in IT support and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Continuing education in Information Technologies preferred
  • Experience with:
    • Linux and Microsoft 365 products (preferred but not required).
    • Microsoft Windows 8, 10, 11
    • Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, 2016
    • Networking (client/peripheral)
    • Basic Windows Domain functions
    • Operating System installations and updates
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow internal IT procedures and guidelines while troubleshooting and resolving basic IT issues.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively support end-users.
