Job description


Job Overview: Sendero Provisions Co. is seeking an IT Technician to provide day-to-day technical support and help maintain the company's growing IT infrastructure. You'll be the first line of response for hardware, software, and systems issues across the organization, working closely with the IT Manager to keep operations running smoothly as Sendero scales.


Responsibilities


  • Help Desk & User Support:
  • Respond to and resolve day-to-day IT support tickets and requests from staff
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
  • Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and peripherals for new hires
  • Provide basic training to staff on tools like G-Suite, Okta, and internal systems


  • Systems & Equipment Support:
  • Assist with maintaining G-Suite, Okta, Unifi, and other core systems under the IT Manager's direction
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching on company devices
  • Track equipment inventory and manage device assignment, repair, and replacement
  • Support basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, switches, access points)


  • Security & Access:
  • Manage user account provisioning and deprovisioning (onboarding/offboarding)
  • Support access control processes and enforce IT security policies
  • Assist with data backup verification and basic security hygiene checks


  • Documentation & Process:
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, tickets, and resolutions
  • Help document standard operating procedures for common IT tasks
  • Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager with clear context


  • Vendor & Facilities Coordination:
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment orders, repairs, and warranty service
  • Assist with basic office technology setup (conference rooms, A/V, etc.)


Qualifications


  • 1+ years of IT support or help desk experience
  • Working knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, basic networking, and cloud-based tools
  • Familiarity with G-Suite and Okta (or similar SSO/identity tools) a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and a self-starter mentality
  • Clear communicator, comfortable supporting non-technical staff
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests


Required Skills


  • Exposure to Unifi networking equipment
  • Familiarity with e-commerce or retail environments
  • Interest in growing into a more senior IT role as the department expands
  • Entry-level certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) a plus
