Job description

A growing IT consulting company near Douglasville, PA is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate infrastructure projects-including phone system deployments, server installations, and ongoing client IT needs. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their infrastructure initiatives, keeping projects organized, on schedule, and communicated clearly at every step.
You will be responsible for managing multiple client-facing projects simultaneously, acting as the connective tissue between clients, internal technical teams, and outside vendors. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a natural ability to build trust with clients, and a comfort level with IT infrastructure concepts that lets you speak credibly with both technical staff and non-technical stakeholders. You should be comfortable with both planning and execution, and thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to lead several concurrent client projects without losing track of details
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills; able to build rapport, manage expectations, and translate technical information for non-technical audiences
  • Proven experience coordinating people and resources-internal teams, external vendors, and clients-toward a shared deadline
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure fundamentals (servers, VoIP phone systems, networking) sufficient to understand project scope and speak knowledgeably with technical staff
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong documentation habits and follow-through
  • A calm, solutions-oriented approach to resolving conflicts, delays, or miscommunications
  • Experience with ConnectWise or a similar PSA/ticketing/project management platform is a plus
  • Previous experience in a consulting, MSP, or customer-focused environment preferred

What You Will Be Doing
  • Serving as the main point of contact for clients throughout infrastructure projects, ensuring clear expectations and consistent, proactive communication
  • Coordinating internal technical resources and external vendors to keep projects moving smoothly
  • Managing timelines, task assignments, and priorities so that projects stay organized, on budget, and within scope
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, checking in regularly and anticipating needs before they become issues
  • Documenting project plans, decisions, and progress in a clear, organized manner for both clients and internal teams
  • Utilizing ConnectWise (or similar platforms) to track milestones, tasks, and open issues
  • Identifying risks or delays early and coordinating the right people to resolve them quickly
  • Bringing a general understanding of servers and phone system deployments to project conversations, without needing to be the one configuring the technology

The Offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision)
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • 401k with matching options
  • Opportunities for continued professional development and certifications

Additional Notes
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
