Job description

Summary: Project Coordinator:
  • Responsible for preparing comprehensive action plans and managing the successful execution of current and future contract packaging projects.
  • Delegating tasks to other employees and conducting daily meetings with team members to monitor the project status.
  • Perform various coordinating tasks such as: scheduling and managing project resources, along with administrative duties: maintaining project documentation and interacting with enterprise resource planning systems.

Duties and responsibilities: Project Coordinator:
  • Direct report to Coordinator Manager or Operations Director.
  • Organizes the team working on the customer order within an organization.
  • Conducts daily meetings with team members to monitor project status and delegates tasks required for successful execution to other employees as needed.
  • Works with warehouse and production leaders to monitor the status of projects which includes anticipated shipping and receiving schedules, production schedules and requirements and quality verification
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for customer questions and provides regular status updates.
  • Collects project information from various sources, coherently organizes this information and updates project documentation/records as needed.
  • Uses information systems to update information, prepare reports and document the progress of the project.
  • May be involved with warehouse-related items like inventory recalls and cycle counting.
  • Proactively assesses project execution and suggests ideas to increase efficiency and mitigate risk.
  • Searches for and analyzes project information to assess and mitigate problems, issues or defects.
  • Develop service procedures, policies and standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications: Project Coordinator:
  • Associate degree in business, project management/coordination, production/manufacturing management or related field OR two-years equivalent experience. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in project management/coordination, production/manufacturing management, business administration or in a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Strong experience with Nulogy or other Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred
  • Business & personnel management
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
  • An ability to prepare and interpret Build of Martial flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
