Position: Sr. Project Manager--EHR
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 12+ months


Work with key organizational stakeholders to execute the Electronic Health Record EHR project plan and successfully implement all project technical components in conjunction with changes to business processes
Demonstrate previous project management experience in EHR implementations, preferably with Siemens Soarian products in an acute care setting
Lead major components of the EHR project and any associated subprojects through the project management life cycle
Demonstrate expertise in change management, project and time management, organizational communication, team facilitation, and negotiation skills
Navigate sensitive issues with multiple stakeholders at varying levels within the organization, including executives, sponsors, department leaders and project team members
Present timely project status updates, risk and issue analysis, and financial impact assessments to a variety of organizational stakeholders
Foster a highly collaborative atmosphere and suggest and solicit process/program changes and improvements to ensure a successful end product
Provide exceptional internal customer service as a representative of the DBHDS PMO
Required minimum 2 years IT project management experience with a local, state or federal agency
