Job description

  • Provide daily help desk support for employees, including troubleshooting computers, monitors, printers, phones, scanners, email, and basic software issues.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other office technology.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding by managing user accounts, setting up equipment, updating access, and collecting returned devices.
  • Support Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other commonly used business applications.
  • Help maintain user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access requests under the direction of the IT Manager or designated leadership.
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, internet access, shared drives, and printer connections.
  • Track, document, and follow up on IT support requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for computers, phones, printers, software licenses, and related equipment.
  • Assist with routine system updates, hardware replacements, software installations, and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Support cybersecurity practices by helping employees follow safe technology use, password, email, and data protection procedures.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors or service providers when needed.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the IT Manager, outside support provider, or appropriate vendor.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, financial, and business information.
