2027 Entry Level IT Analyst

This position is part of our Information Technology Solutions (ITS) Entry Level Rotation Program. The ITS Rotation Program provides the foundation for the future success of Solar Turbines technology professionals and the future success of the organization. The purpose of the program is to start the development and training of the next generation of well-rounded and highly competent technology professionals through an analyst rotation program.

Program Goals:

  • Begin building technical foundation.
  • Provide challenging assignments.
  • Create broad exposure to Solar Turbines
  • Acquire product knowledge.
  • Develop enterprise perspective.
  • Begin network building.
  • Build pride and engagement.
  • Preparation for a challenging and rewarding technology career.

Rotations: Rotation assignments vary for each individual and are decided upon between management and the employee based on the needs of the business. Work assignments can range from assisting in quality assurance, software development, customer support, project management, system administration.

Each program consists of yearly rotations in departments such as:

  • Market Facing Organization Information Technology
  • Enterprise Applications
  • Engineering Information Technology
  • Client Support Services
  • Cybersecurity
  • Solar Analytics
  • Infrastructure Services
  • Manufacturing Information Technology

Interfacing with critical support and business roles to develop an understanding of our technology life cycle and how information technology supports the business. Once the rotation program is nearing the end, management works with the analyst to align information technology solutions organizational needs with which department they want to join for their long-term assignment.

Minimum qualifications :

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM or Computer Science.
  • Minimum overall GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
  • 0-3 years of related experience.
  • Previous internship and/or relevant work experience in a technology related field.
  • Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment.
  • High energy level and sense of urgency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good business / technical judgment.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities for a variety of tasks

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary for this role ranges from $82,625 - $103,653.

Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:
