SUMMARY

Wrap Fidelity Specialists will assure fidelity to open process wraparound concepts, trauma informed care, and ensure Children's System of Care principles are adhered to in program wraparound services; Provide extensive training and coaching in the field to program staff to support high fidelity efforts. Hold a small caseload of wraparound families. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works as a close team with Program Director, Assistant Director and Regional Managers/Supervisors to ensure adherence to high fidelity wraparound principles
  • Provides initial and ongoing trainings on high fidelity wraparound principles, phase, and skill sets to staff
  • Provides formal and informal coaching in team meetings, supervisions, and one-on-one to program staff
  • Utilizes wraparound fidelity measurements, and measurement results, to offer feedback to program staff, families, and youth on fidelity efforts and for use in action planning
  • Elevates performance concerns of staff to management
  • Provides coverage for ICC's and family partners (in event of vacations/leave of absence/termination from program) whose teams they have coached previously to allow for continuity of care, and/or carries small caseload of families - Provides collateral, crisis intervention, rehab, and case management support to teams
  • Provides high fidelity wraparound training to families, stakeholders and community partners
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and timely case records per requirements of licensing and private payers, Medi-Cal requirements, and facility policies
  • Required to work 3-4 evenings per week for in-field coaching or working with own families
  • Maintains clear, effective, and open communication between multi-disciplinary clinical staff, and administrative personnel within and between SDCC programs
  • Fulfills training requirements including SmartCare, high fidelity wraparound, cultural competency, HIPAA, and all applicable human resource trainings
  • Maintains current BBS licensure, associate registration, or certified peer support specialist certification as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager/director

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Experience facilitating a wraparound team process
  • Two years of experience working in a high fidelity wraparound program
  • High School Diploma or GED for applicants who are lived experts of systems
  • Bachelor's Degree for applicants who are not consumers or caregivers of consumers
  • Registered Associate or Licensed with the BBS in social work, psychology, professional clinical counseling, or marriage and family therapy in the state of California for those applying with a Master's Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Peer Support Certification
  • Proficient in SmartCare (online medical records system)
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience providing training, education, or coaching to adults
