Job Description
We are in search of an Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing team. This role will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the efficient flow of all supplies within the warehouse. This position is responsible for tracking stock, managing inventory records, coordinating with purchasing and warehouse teams, and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems, including adjustments and variance tracking.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports (e.g., omit exception, backorder, virtual bin).
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to address inventory issues and align on priorities.
  • Communicate urgent inventory concerns to purchasing and management teams.
  • Monitor for signs of shrinkage, theft, or tampering; escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements by maintaining thorough documentation and records.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • 1-2 years of previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred; however entry level candidates are welcome to apply
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior forklift certification is preferred. All employees will be certified upon hire.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, pickers, or scrubbers is preferred.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills to operate warehouse management systems, tools such as scanners, and data entry tasks
  • Basic math skills to manage inventory counts and measurements (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs and walk, climb, kneel, stoop, and balance frequently

The pay range for this role is $19.23 - $26.44 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
