Lifesteps is hiring a Part-Time Day Program Aide, Substitute in the Kittanning area.

Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by โ€œhelping individuals and families with life's changing needsโ€. The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. Position Summary:

An entry level position responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

This part-time position works various days, Monday through Friday, normally with a schedule of 8:45 to 2:30. Hours can average up to 19 per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

โ€ข High School Diploma/GED.

โ€ข Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).

โ€ข First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months of hire date.

โ€ข Current driverโ€™s license with the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.

Preferred:

โ€ข One-year experience working with individuals in human services field.

โ€ข Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE).

โ€ข Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP).

โ€ข Associates Degree and six months to one-year experience.

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s Degree.

โ€ข Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
