We're a new Farmers Insurance agency in San Juan Capistrano, and we're looking for a great hire for our team someone who wants more than a job with a script and a headset. You'll be backed by one of the most respected names in insurance, but you'll help build the agency itself: the client relationships, the reputation, the culture. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR). If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the career opportunity for you!

Base Salary - $45,000 -$50,000 Based on experience + Commission + Bonus Opportunities.

Expect to earn $4,000 to $6,000 a month with additional compensation (post tax) with a path to 7k+/month as you get more comfortable in the role.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, texts, and emails quickly and professionally
  • Help clients with policy changes and endorsements for home, auto, umbrella, renters, landlord, and commercial policies
  • Keep renewals on track by collecting renewal forms, photos, and underwriting items, and getting everything back to the carrier on time
  • Work directly with carriers and underwriters to solve issues, clear requirements, and prevent cancellations
  • Issue Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Insurance, and lender or mortgagee updates as needed
  • Document everything clearly in our agency system and follow our service process
  • Hand off all incoming leads to the sales team immediately, so prospects get contacted fast
  • Schedule Life Insurance appointments for the sales team and help with basic intake details
  • Look for simple cross-sell opportunities while servicing, and tee up the next step for the sales team
  • Coordinate with escrow, lenders, property managers, and vendors when needed to keep deals moving and keep clients happy

Requirements
  • California Property & Casualty, or Personal Lines License preferred
