As an IT Helpdesk Intern at RAM Aerospace, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the technology that keeps our engineering and manufacturing teams running. Working under the supervision of the IT team, you will assist with day-to-day helpdesk requests, workstation setup, hardware deployment, and inventory management. This part-time role is a great fit for a student looking to build real-world IT support experience in a fast-paced, technical environment.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Helpdesk & Support: Assist with basic helpdesk tickets, workstation setup, and hardware deployment under the guidance of the IT team, helping resolve routine requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Inventory & Documentation: Support IT inventory tracking and maintain accurate documentation of equipment, tickets, and support activities.
  • General IT Support: Assist with other entry-level IT support tasks as assigned, gaining exposure to the broader responsibilities of the IT department.
Requirements:
  • Legal: Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
  • ITAR: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum (due to ITAR requirements).
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
  • Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
