These roles can include tasks such as technical support, network maintenance, software troubleshooting, or assisting with IT projects. Part time IT positions are often ideal for students, individuals seeking work-life balance, or those looking to gain experience in the technology sector. Many organizations offer part time IT roles to help manage workloads or provide support during peak hours.

What are some common challenges faced by part-time IT professionals, and how can they be addressed?

  • Approximately one year of related IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of computers, hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A valid Utah driver's license
  • Ability to pass a BCI background check

Starting hourly rate $24 to $29 depending on experience.
