AWT has the following position open in our Minneapolis, MN location:
The schedule for this position is M-F, Hours are - 8am - 5pm. Additional days and hours may be necessary due to production requirements.
Required Job Duties
The IT Client Support Technician role will serve as a member of the overall AWT IT organization, focused primarily on supporting production and front office client technologies and equipment throughout the enterprise. This role will be an entry-level contributor with growth opportunities across AWT IT. This position will be on-site in the Minneapolis facility, and be primarily tasked with performing PC deployment operations such as OS and application installation and configuration, preparing devices for shipment to end users, and assisting employees with the initial setup and login to newly deployed PCs. While the role will prioritize the execution of client deployment tasks, the role will also participate in general support and projects for all AWT locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Support core IT infrastructure through PC builds and configurations
  • Unpack new hardware, and prepare configured hardware for shipment
  • Physically deploy client hardware to end users
  • Assist end users with new PC logins, use, and configuration
  • Provide general IT service desk functions and end user support
  • Assist in projects and efforts driven by AWT leadership
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to IT leadership within overall AWT IT
  • Take work direction from IT infrastructure leadership and Senior IT peers.
  • Work within applicable AWT IT and Security policies.
  • Assist in general IT troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements
Who does the IT Client Support Technician work with?
The IT Client Support Technician will work with AWT IT peers & leadership, local business leadership, and users within the AWT facilities. This role will take primary work direction from the IT Support Manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • 1-3+ years IT support experience
  • Team focused and self-motivated
  • Proficient in end-user computer technologies
  • Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and other common technologies
  • Experience configuring and administering Microsoft Intune and Autopilot a plus
  • Strong in ideation and problem solving
  • Aptitude to learn, grow and stay current with technology evolution
  • Level 1-2 hands-on experience supporting LAN/WLAN technologies
