Dietary Aide
Full-Time | Part-Time | All Shifts Available
We are seeking dependable and team-oriented Dietary Aides to support meal service and food operations within the facility. This role is essential to ensuring residents receive meals that are timely, accurate to diet orders, and served in a clean and respectful manner.
This position is well suited for individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and understand the importance of nutrition, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
• Set up and assemble resident meal trays according to diet cards and menus
• Deliver meal trays to nursing units and retrieve trays after meals
• Assist with preparation of food items, snacks, and supplements as directed
• Prepare items for medication passes as scheduled
• Break down trays, operate dishwashing equipment, and properly store items
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and dining spaces
• Assist cooks and food services staff as needed
• Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Respond appropriately to requests from nursing staff and residents
• Adhere to HIPAA and resident confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
