Industrial Engineer – Entry Level

Position Summary

Growing automotive manufacturing company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment.

This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to develop hands-on experience in manufacturing, process improvement, data analysis, and operational support.

The ideal candidate must be highly analytical, organized, proactive, and comfortable working directly with production and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

·        Support daily manufacturing and production operations

·        Analyze production performance, downtime, scrap, and operational trends

·        Develop and maintain reports, trackers, and process documentation

·        Assist with process improvements focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction

·        Participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities

·        Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

·        Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams

·        Assist with implementation of operational and engineering changes

·        Monitor KPIs and prepare management reports

Required Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in:

·         

o   Mechanical Engineering

o   Industrial Engineering

o   Manufacturing Engineering

o   Mechatronics Engineering

o   or related engineering field

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Excellent organizational and communication abilities

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills REQUIRED

Candidates must demonstrate advanced Excel capabilities, including:

·        Pivot Tables

·        VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

·        Data analysis and reporting

·        Formulas and data tracking

·        Charts and dashboards

Excel proficiency is a critical requirement for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Internship or manufacturing experience preferred

·        Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus

·        Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement concepts

·        Familiarity with welding or stamping operations is a plus
