Position Overview

Reliance One, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting the design and development of advanced material handling systems. This role is responsible for designing mechanical components and equipment, creating detailed CAD drawings, supporting system commissioning, and collaborating with customers to develop innovative engineering solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level to early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in material handling, conveyor systems, and automotive manufacturing.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and develop mechanical components, equipment, and machinery for material handling systems.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and layouts using CAD software.
  • Interface with customer engineers to gather project requirements and translate them into functional technical specifications.
  • Support fabrication, installation, commissioning, and field modifications of mechanical systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving engineering-related issues during installation and startup.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and design revisions.
  • Support multiple engineering projects while maintaining high attention to detail and quality.

  • 0–3 years of experience with material handling systems or conveyor systems.
