THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN Pleasant Grove, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Development Specialist is responsible for driving customer engagement and supporting revenue growth through a combination of marketing initiatives and proactive inside sales activities. This position manages lead generation, qualification, and nurturing processes across Holt of California and Holt Ag Solutions territories, while building strong relationships with customers to provide parts and service solutions. The role involves collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams, CRM management, and execution of targeted campaigns to convert.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Define, implement, and maintain processes to collect, qualify, and distribute inbound leads from various campaigns and channels.
  • Conduct regular outbound sales calls and account planning sessions.
  • Nurture relationships with new and existing customers to maximize coverage and increase sales.
  • Manage and update CRM system with customer information, leads, activities, and sales.
  • Provide CRM training and support for internal users.
  • Create and update dashboards for reporting lead and sales data.
  • Partner with Marketing to execute promotions, campaigns, and outbound call programs around sales initiatives and events.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to maintain an effective pipeline aligned with revenue goals.
  • Provide lead status updates to sales management, partners, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Maintain logs of calls, quotes, and customer interactions.
  • Engage in proactive account management for assigned accounts.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current on Holt’s products, services, and industry trends.
  • Other marketing and sales duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar)
  • Proven ability to qualify leads, identify customer needs, and align them with appropriate solutions.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with marketing and sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy, accountability, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Requires an Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field. Education may be substituted by 3 to 4 years job experience in marketing, sales or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with CRM Systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar). Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
