As an Entry-Level Sales Representative, you'll help customers through every step of the car-buying process - from understanding their needs, showing vehicles, answering questions, arranging test drives, and helping create a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish.

  • 401(k) options
  • Employee discounts on vehicle purchases
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Supportive, team-oriented environment
  • Opportunity to expand with one of Indiana's fastest-growing dealerships

At Grote Automotive, we are on a mission to put the fun back into buying a car while bringing respect, responsibility, and transparency back to the car business.
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to drive a nicer, newer vehicle, and we are committed to helping customers find solutions that fit their needs. Our team focuses on solving problems first, building trust, and creating a better experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
We believe that when you treat people with courtesy, provide clear information, and deliver concierge-level service, you create customers for life.
If you are motivated, coachable, and want to be part of a growing dealership that works hard, has fun, and celebrates success, we want to talk to you.
We're excited to meet the next great member of our team!
Responsibilities
• Welcome and assist customers with professionalism, enthusiasm, and exceptional service
• Develop strong customer relationships by understanding their needs, budget, and vehicle preferences
• Showcase vehicle features, benefits, and available options through informative presentations and demonstrations

• Proactively follow up with prospects, scheduled appointments, and existing customers via phone, text, and email
• Collaborate with sales managers and finance team members to provide a seamless purchasing experience
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while maintaining a customer-focused approach

What We're Looking For:
• Previous automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, energetic attitude with a desire to learn and grow
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Strong ability to build rapport and earn customer trust
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and phone technology
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
