How you will make an impact:
As an Image Processing Engineer, you will play a key role in developing innovative image processing solutions that support new product development, enhance existing technologies, and provide advanced software and statistical analysis capabilities. You will design and implement custom software applications while optimizing camera and lighting systems used for data acquisition. Working closely with R&D and Operations teams, you will help improve manufacturing processes through automation and process optimization initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges while advancing industry-leading security technologies.
  • Support R&D innovation teams in the design, development, and integration of rapid prototype software tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software applications and systems.
  • Manage small, medium, and large-scale projects to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Analyze and manage large datasets to support research, development, and manufacturing objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on image processing and data visualization within cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate complex technical findings and insights to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Adhere to established software architecture standards and integrate with existing APIs when appropriate.
  • Identify and address safety risks while promoting a safe working environment.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (DSP), or Mathematics.
  • Hands-on image processing and computer vision experience, including coding, API integration, and software troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or C#, and experience with OpenCV, Pillow, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or Touch Designer.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, image processing, optics, and human vision.

Preferred:
