Professor Gatsby's Heating & Cooling of Williamstown, NJ 08094 is looking to hire an entry-level HVAC Apprentice to assist our experienced HVAC technicians while learning the trade. As an entry-level HVAC Apprentice, you will work a 7-4 or 8-5, Monday - Friday schedule and earn a competitive entry-level wage of $17.00-$22.00/hr, depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ENTRY-LEVEL HVAC APPRENTICE

As an HVAC Apprentice, you are eager to learn! You ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at Professor Gatsby's Heating & Cooling. You go out in the field with an HVAC Technician and help with the installation of equipment and ductwork, as well as large repairs. As you assist them, they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly service equipment.

You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you're being taught. You enjoy interacting with customers and fellow employees. You also spend some of your time taking classes and continuing to expand your HVAC knowledge and skills. You are excited to be part of our apprenticeship program and can't wait to advance in this stable and well-paid career as an HVAC Technician!

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE AN HVAC TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE

  • EPA certification
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights or small crawl spaces
  • No experience necessary!
