Job Description

Provide service to all employees by compiling and maintaining human resources records and documentation related to compensation, benefits, HRIS, and payroll. Acts as a resource to all employees by providing information and answers to HR-related questions.

This is an entry level HR role that works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities
  • Supports operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with safety
  • Promotes and supports Bemis health and wellness initiatives
  • Performs general administrative duties including communications and postings, making copies, filing, assembling new hire packets, etc.
  • Accountable for accurate data entry, understanding current Workday processes, and partnering with business leaders to ensure data integrity
  • Works on miscellaneous HR projects
  • Assists with the coordination of employee events
  • May be responsible for the processing of payroll utilizing Kronos
  • Responsible for hiring, interviewing, onboarding, new hire orientation, employee training, etc.
  • Partners with leaders to assist employees on HR topics including but not limited to explanation of benefits, payroll issues, workers compensation, STD, unemployment, and other HR information
  • Assists with company-wide processes such as annual enrollment, performance management, biometric testing, etc.
  • Coordinates, documents, and maintains internal job transfers, seniority lists, and associated data
  • Responsible for tracking attendance and discipline
  • Maintain current, accurate and confidential personnel records for hourly and salaried employees
  • Protects employee data and handles all information with integrity and confidentiality
  • Support HR Service Delivery Model and encourage employees to leverage the model
  • Provide employees and leaders with accurate and timely information
  • Accuracy of data entry
