Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated entry level Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic organization in the Hastings Michigan area. This role will responsible for supporting the Human Resources team by answering phone calls, responding to internal emails to our general email box. performing data entry, assisting with employee time clock set-ups and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources department functions, or recent college experience in the human resources curriculum would be helpful
  • Knowledge of employment & HR legal compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook
  • Good data entry skills and administrative skills and working with employee timecards.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences across global teams.
  • Experience with payroll processing platforms such as ADP or Paycom would be helpful.
  • Hours are 8:00 - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday with a 1 hour unpaid lunch

Education:

  • Human Resources Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
