What We Seek:

The University of New Mexico Foundation seeks a Human Resources Representative to support and enhance the employee experience through the effective administration of human resources programs and services. Reporting to the Managing Director of Human Resources and working closely with the Senior Associate Vice President of Human Resources and other HR team members, this position plays a key role in benefits administration, employee onboarding, engagement initiatives, HR communications, and departmental operations. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and service-oriented professional who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is energized by the opportunity to be part of a collaborative energetic team that contributes not only to the Human Resources team, but to the broader mission and the success of the Foundation. This role is well suited for someone committed to providing exceptional support to employees while contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.


What We Require:

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality are essential. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service abilities, and the capacity to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees, leadership, vendors, and external partners. The ability to coordinate projects, prepare reports, manage records, and support departmental initiatives is critical to success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and intermediate Excel functions such as data entry, sorting, filtering, and report preparation, is required. Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and supporting a diverse workforce is highly valued.


The minimum education and experience required:

  • High school diploma/ GED required.
  • Two (2) years of directly related experience.
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.


Compensation Salary Range:

The expected salary for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. This range is an estimate, and the final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, and alignment with internal equity guidelines to ensure consistency across similar roles.
