What You'll Do

CEC is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support DEA HR operations by assisting with staffing, hiring, personnel processing, and benefits-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with staffing, hiring, and onboarding activities
  • Support personnel action processing and HR case management
  • Maintain and update HR records using automated systems
  • Assist with benefits-related documentation
  • Track HR actions and workflow status
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in human resources or related field is preferred
  • Four years of experience in Federal Human Resources or related staffing and hiring activities
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws
  • Experience using Federal HR and office systems (NFC, eOPF, MS Office Suite, USA Staffing, EmpowerHR, eQIP)
