Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The HRIS Analyst supports HR technology systems through maintenance, testing, reporting, data analysis, and process improvement. This role documents requirements, develops specifications, and participates in the design, configuration, development, and testing of HR system solutions across areas such as Talent Management, HR/Payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefits, Compensation, Risk, Environmental Health & Safety, Loss Prevention, and Reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • System Maintenance: Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate the upgrade of applications or product fixes. Maintain HRIS setup configurations and security. Document processes and results.
  • Production Support: Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; working with business users to gather and document requirements; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Coordinate with vendors of supplied systems on enhancements, fixes, and escalations.
  • Projects/Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes in assigned systems. Leverage AI and automation technologies to streamline HR processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve data quality. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders including cross-functional business partners (e.g., payroll, retail, manufacturing, benefits, etc.) to proactively drive business efficiencies through HR systems. Use project management skills in managing projects within established timeframes.
  • Reports/Queries/Integrations: Develop, maintain, and support a variety of reports or integrations using appropriate reporting/extract tools. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data, and working with appropriate business partners to correct anomalies. Requires developing system/functional specifications, designing/developing the solution, and testing the solution based on the specifications.
  • Training: Assist subject matter experts in development of user procedures and training on new processes/functionality.
  • Individual Development: Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through webinars, classes, reading, computer-based trainings or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in vendor and HR organizations user group meetings/conferences.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 2 years HRIS system implementation and support experience of integrated HCM systems or similar work.
  • Report development experience in Business Intelligence or similar report writing systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with focus in one of the following disciplines: Talent Management (to include Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance, Engagement), HR/Payroll, Time and Attendance/Workforce Scheduling, Benefits, Compensation, Incident Management or similar work.
  • Experience in workforce management (WFM) solutions (such as Dayforce, Blue Yonder, UKG Dimensions, Reflexis or other similar systems) with labor budgeting and forecasting, labor KPIs (metrics), labor scheduling, time and attendance configurations.
  • Experience with UKG Pro Core HCM, Recruiting and Onboarding, Cognos Analytics, etc.
  • Experience with Cornerstone LMS.
  • Experience with Riskonnect Incident Management systems or Salesforce Administration.
  • Experience with AI-enabled HR technologies and HRIS platforms, including automation, advanced analytics, intelligent reporting, and other AI-driven solutions that improve HR operations and decision-making.
