Summary
The HRIS Analyst supports the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Human Resources Information Systems. This role is responsible for data audits, user support, troubleshooting, and developing and deploying configuration changes and system enhancements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
System Administration & Support
  • Monitor employee data within the HRIS, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
  • Assist employees and HR partners with system navigation, system issues, and troubleshooting.
  • Create, update, and maintain HRIS documentation, including job aids and process guides.
  • Expeditiously handle system support tickets.

Reporting & Data Analysis
  • Develop, run and/or modify standard scheduled reports for HR, payroll, finance, and compliance.
  • Perform data audits to identify errors or inconsistencies, escalating findings as needed.

Configuration & Enhancements
  • Support testing of system updates, patches, enhancements, and new features.
  • Help configure system fields, workflows, or permissions.
  • Actively participate in and/or lead HRIS projects such as module rollouts or process improvements.

Compliance & Security
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all data governance practices.
  • Support compliance reporting (EEO, ACA, payroll, 401k, etc.)

Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-entry skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Preferred
  • Experience with an HRIS platform (Infor (Lawson), Workday, UKG, Dayforce, ADP, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
  • Prior experience in HR, HRIS, Payroll, SQL, or data administration.
  • Understanding of HR terminology and employee lifecycle processes.
