Copier Technician - Entry Level Shop/ Field Service TechnicianAt Automated Business Technologies we partner with our customers to enhance and create efficiency within their workspace. A variety of services that are offered to our customers that include printing and copying devices, large print production devices, building access control, VOIP phone systems, managed IT services and many other offerings.We're looking for a mechanically inclined individual with moderate to advanced computer and network knowledge to join our team. Individuals must have a willingness to work in a varied capacity and be able to learn on the job. Formal training will be provided as the candidate progresses with the company. Individuals will assist with building, setup, installation and repair of printers and copiers, network troubleshooting, and using phone and computer-based software to document and manage workload. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in a hands-on technical role.Key ResponsibilitiesDevice Assembly & SetupUnbox and assemble printers and copiersConfigure devices based on customer needs (Scan to File, Scan to Email, network setup, driver installation)Field Service & InstallationAssist in delivery and installation of devices at customer sitesEnsure end-users are connected and able to print successfullyProvide basic training and support to customers during installationTechnical Troubleshooting & RepairsSupport in-shop repairs of customer devicesDiagnose and resolve hardware and software issuesPerform routine maintenance and updatesDocumentation & Workflow ManagementAccurately log builds, repairs, and service calls using ERP softwareMaintain organized records of parts, service history, and customer interactionsSkills / Qualifications:Higher consideration is given to candidates with OEM certificationsStrong functional and technical skillsIT knowledge, above average computer skillsTeam-oriented with solid verbal and written communication skillsClean driving record and insurability requiredCompensation:Base salary $30-45K annual, plus performance incentives.Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance.
