Where You'll Work
In Central Minnesota you'll find quality health care as near to you as CHI St. Gabriel's Health in Little Falls, part of CommonSpirit Health. We've been serving this area since 1892 and we have the equipment, experience, and expertise to offer you a full range of the latest health services.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.
This position will mostly see pediatric population with mixed inpatient/outpatient, as schedule allows.
Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.
To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player.
  • Patient care including evaluation and treatment of patients referred by providers
  • Provides appropriate supervision for department support personnel
  • Completes documentation related to patient care in a timely manner
  • Participates in and provides educational in-services for staff and providers
  • Collaborates with healthcare team and provides professional recommendations regarding patient care
  • Participates in patient related care coordination activities (e.g. care conferences, etc.)

Sign On Bonus $15,000

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or
  • Occupational Therapist: MN
  • Occupational Therapist Registered,
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 6 - months

Preferred
  • Entry level masters/doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Pediatrics experience, but willing to train the right candidate
