Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Anaheim, CA is seeking an onsite IT Service Desk Technician to provide Tier I technical support for approximately 4-6 weeks. This position will support end users in a Windows 11 environment and serve as the first point of contact for resolving common IT issues. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience supporting Microsoft technologies, and the ability to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Tier I technical support via phone and ticketing system for end-user hardware, software, and access-related issues
* Troubleshoot and resolve common Windows 11 desktop and laptop issues
* Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and related services
* Log, track, and manage support requests through the SolarWinds Service Desk ticketing system
* Escalate complex technical issues to Tier II or appropriate support teams when necessary
* Assist users with password resets, account access requests, software installations, and basic troubleshooting
* Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions accurately
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with end users
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience supporting Windows 11 environments
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (O365) administration and end-user support
* Experience working with a ticketing system, preferably SolarWinds Service Desk
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work onsite in Anaheim and attend training during the first week in Commerce
Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or ITIL are a plus
* Experience supporting enterprise users in a corporate environment
* Knowledge of Active Directory user account management
* Familiarity with remote support tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
