What you'll do

With First Environmental, you are responsible for “making it happen” through tasks related to industrial plant site clean-up using vacuums, high-pressure water equipment, hazardous waste clean-up, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes and materials.

As a Field Service Operator, you will be operating and driving equipment to and from work sites, like Vacuum trucks, Roll-Off Trucks, and other heavy equipment. Our customer’s satisfaction will rely on you!

Position Requirements:

  • Acceptable Past Work History, including 2-3 years commercial driving/equipment operation.
  • Passenger bus experience does not count.
  • Possess/maintain a valid Class “B” (or higher) commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement.
  • Have/maintain an acceptable driving record as reviewed by insurance provider
  • Completion of a Hazmat Worker Physical
  • Possess the ability to understand and demonstrate safety training requirements
  • Pass pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background screening
  • Pass respirator usage required testing
  • Ability to bend, lift, twist, climb, hoist and lift a minimum of 70lbs
  • Ability to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, overtime, and up to 30% overnight travel
  • Ability to work an on-call schedule
  • Minimum age of 25
  • All First Environmental positions require extensive manual labor including, but not limited to, repetitive bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing and lifting.
