Job description

This is a six to twelve month program with the potential to be hired full time.

Responsibilities:

Data Administration

  • Updating Collateral database with Client-Specific Data, Hedge fund Specific data, Portfolio data such as collateral management of securities (bonds, loans, equities, hedge funds etc.)
  • Portfolio reconciliation - Assist team members with data comparison to view discrepancies or variances
  • Daily monitoring of incoming emails to group email box, pass along distribution of communications (both external and internal teams)
  • Documentation - assist team with document execution and general logistics
  • Maintain internal documentation
  • Facilitate systems development
  • Website - continual enhancements of our client portals, working closely with business analysts and technologists for user experience and enhancedย 
  • Create, maintain internal documentation such as team procedures such as collateral management process; deal by deal specific procedures, etc.
  • Settlement of cash activity related to trades
  • Assisting in Ad-hoc projects
  • Undergraduates welcome or Master's Degree
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of Products especially in Excel - to be able to write macros and utilize VBA coding to help streamline the team's voluminous data
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and partnering skills, a "team" player.
  • Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, driven to work in a fast-learning environment with on point multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic, deadline-focused environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and able to meet deadlines
