UNC Health Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) to provide per diem virtual teleacute services to a variety of patients at multiple UNC Health community hospital facilities. This role will provide both synchronous and asynchronous consults to patients.ย 

About This Position:ย 

โ€ข Remote position, offering the opportunity for work/life balance with no commute. Candidate must reside in North Carolina.

โ€ข Variable shifts; Hours of Operation are Monday-Friday 8am-5pmย 

โ€ข Virtual consultations of hospitalized patients, consisting of adults 18 and older.ย 

โ€ข High-quality care to adult (18+ years old) hospital patients who need medical services.ย 

โ€ข Candidate must be licensed in North Carolina.ย 

โ€ข No call.ย 

โ€ข EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized.ย 

Ideal Candidate:ย 

โ€ข 2+ years of experience is preferred.ย 

โ€ข Board Certified/Eligible in Infectious Disease.ย 

โ€ข Telemedicine experience is a plus but not required.ย 

โ€ข Open-minded and flexible with change.ย 

โ€ข Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care.ย
