About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology team. Working under the supervision of the Radiation Therapy Manager, you will be responsible for delivering prescribed radiation treatments to patients in accordance with established policies and standards. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of radiation safety principles and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the physician, following established clinical standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation in clinical information systems.
  • Apply knowledge of healthcare informatics, including Aria, Eclipse Treatment Planning, and Phillips CT software (preferred).
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the full Radiation Oncology treatment team.
  • Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety principles and regulations from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and other applicable bodies.
  • Apply high-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills; work independently and collaboratively within the team.
  • Complete additional duties as required within the department.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent.
  • Radiation Therapy Certification โ€” must be current and in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 2โ€“15 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Aria, Eclipse Treatment Planning, and Phillips CT software.
  • Familiarity with healthcare informatics tools and clinical information systems.
