We are a franchised, AHCA-licensed non-medical home care agency serving Broward County, dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality companion and personal care services that allow our clients to remain safe and independent in their own homes. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Administrator to lead daily operations and ensure our agency continues to meet the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance.
## Position Summary
The Administrator is responsible for the overall operational, regulatory, and administrative management of the agency. This role oversees caregiver staffing, client intake, quality assurance, and compliance with all AHCA licensing requirements, while fostering a culture of accountability and compassionate care.
## Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the agency's designated AHCA Administrator, ensuring full compliance with Florida home care licensing regulations
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including caregiver scheduling, client intake, and service coordination
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise caregivers and office staff
- Maintain and update policies, procedures, and required documentation for licensure renewals and inspections
- Manage client and caregiver relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Monitor quality assurance processes, including caregiver performance and client care plans
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of personnel files, background screenings, and required certifications
- Coordinate with franchise support resources to align local operations with brand standards
- Support business development efforts, including referral relationships with healthcare providers, senior communities, and discharge planners
- Manage budgets, billing oversight, and basic financial reporting for the agency
## Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in home care, home health, or a related healthcare services setting required; supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Florida AHCA licensing requirements for non-medical home care agencies
