Job Summary:

The Consultant role will locate, cultivate, and nurture relationships that yield loyalty and promote a long-term working relationship with our new and existing clients. The Consultant will tactfully negotiate assignment details, compensation, and additional benefits between clients and providers. The Consultant will make a great first impression that is backed up by outstanding customer service and a strong work ethic. The Consultant will work in a consultative role to determine client needs, recruit and interview possible candidates to determine if they would be a good fit with client’s culture. The Consultant will have independent discretion to select the most qualified candidate through interviewing and screening to submit to the client(s). In addition, the Consultant will act within the values of All Star Healthcare Solutions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Contact healthcare professionals and clients to cultivate, nurture and consistently manage those relationships with the goal of generating a high-quality pipeline of candidates by making a high volume of calls daily (100+ calls per day), as well as conducting text and e-blast messages
  • Present potential healthcare professionals, whether from existing pipeline or new candidates, to suitable opportunities based on their specialty, clinical skills capabilities, licenses, board status, and credentials to meet client needs for their assignments
  • Use tact while independently negotiating contracts with prospective clients for placement opportunities. Execute Contracts with the negotiated terms contributing to the organizations bottom line
  • Interact with prospective and existing clients to describe assignment details, pay, and benefits.
  • Screen, interview, market, and place prospective Healthcare Professionals in opportunities well-suited based on specialty.
  • Use multidimensional and at times creative approach to understand and find solutions to fill client needs for healthcare provider staffing for example using phone, internet, and social media to find providers
  • Work with clients in a consultative role to determine their needs, use independent discretion to select the most qualified candidate to fit their needs and culture.
  • Make clear and concise decisions necessary for our clients and providers.
  • Attend scheduled sales call events; meet daily/monthly/quarterly quotas assigned by leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills delivering clear and concise information
  • Ability to develop rapport with both current/prospective candidates and clients.
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Time management skills a must managing multiple assignments meeting and exceeding deadlines
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  • Being able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and balance outbound & inbound phone calls, email communications, and detailed database entries with minimal supervision
  • Ability to receive and implement feedback and coaching
  • Confidence in working with “C Level” business leaders and closing deals with them and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to be decisive
  • A degree of creativity and latitude is required
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and well organized consistently incorporating All Star’s values and “Red Carpet” service into all activities and interactions

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communication, Management or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with high volume cold calling is preferred.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
