Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Builder with strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail, particularly regarding fit, finish, and high-precision assembly. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling custom automated machinery from the ground up. This includes mechanical assembly, system integration, testing, and assisting with installation as needed.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills, and thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced engineering environment.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Build and assemble custom automation equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred

  • Ability to demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on quality, alignment, and overall craftsmanship
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, CAD prints, and assembly documentation
  • Experience using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and mechanical assembly equipment
  • Familiarity with pneumatics, linear motion components, and industrial hardware
  • Basic understanding of electrical wiring or panel wiring, or a willingness to learn, is a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and adapt in a custom-build environment
  • Prior JR Automation experience or experience within the automation industry is strongly preferred
