Responsibilities
PJT Park Hill, our leading global alternative asset advisory and fundraising business, provides private capital advisory and fundraising services for a diverse range of investment strategies. Moreover, PJT Park Hill is the only group among its peers with top-tier dedicated private equity, alternative credit/hedge fund, real estate and secondary advisory groups.
PJT Park Hill's Direct Placement group offers Analysts the chance to engage directly with top caliber private equity firms by providing a broad range of advisory services, including vehicle formation and capital raising, as well as customized capital solutions for direct, co-investment, and other financing opportunities. The private placement process uniquely develops both the quantitative and qualitative skills required at more advanced levels across financial services.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Assist the deal team in all aspects of execution;
  • Work directly with clients on drafting investment memoranda and marketing materials;
  • Prepare for and coordinate all due diligence meetings and related materials;
  • Help coordinate roadshow scheduling and logistics;
  • Assist with various research projects;
  • Support the sourcing, diligence, and origination of new mandates;
  • Manage and maintain external PJT Park Hill Direct Placement materials, including marketing and pitch materials;
  • Update and maintain deal pipeline offering booklets and executive presentations for PJT Partners.

Qualifications
PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred, but not required;
  • Knowledge of and interest in the alternative asset industry, specifically private equity;
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of prior finance experience, ideally in private placements, investment banking, alternative asset investor relations, or similar fields;
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial modeling and leveraged buyout analysis;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and to handle multiple projects at once;
  • A self-starter with the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong work ethic; genuine passion for excellence; results-oriented;
  • High personal and professional integrity;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Expected annualized base salary of $120,000 to $130,000.
This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate's relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
Base salary is one component of PJT Partners' compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners' compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
