Full Job Description

An Omnicom Organization in Porter is looking for a recent graduate or junior designer with 1-3 years of experience. This is a full-time position, reporting to our Creative Director. The ideal candidate will be in the Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana Area.

This position will require about 3 months of training and hands on learning to understand their design process and get familiar with large scale print. The Designer will be responsible for learning their Servpro Program and other express accounts. The training will include how to edit vehicle templates and format designs for large-scale print. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and great communication skills.


Responsibilities

· Create digital designs for primarily vehicle graphics, store front windows, inside signage and more

· Communicate with sales reps and creative team to produce designs from concept to final mockup

· Ensure that layout and design is current, consistent, and aligned with clients' brand standards

· Remake logos and review photography for large scale print.

· Upkeep current and service new accounts daily

· Collect, document, and organize materials for client references

· Use Adobe Illustrator daily to execute design layouts in scale on 11x17 art board


Qualifications

· Advanced Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mac software

· Strong Portfolio of relevant work (brand design, logo design, typography)

· Able to multitask and meet deadlines

· Able to communicate with Sales Reps and Clients directly

· Able to receive feedback and work with team members
